Zari AI Named Finalist in the 2026 Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence

Zari AI has been named a finalist in the University of New England Excellence in Micro Business category at the 36th Annual Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence (WSABE), presented by Principal Partner Commonwealth Bank.

We are not going to pretend this happened by accident, and we are not going to pretend it makes us a finished business. It is simply a fair, independent acknowledgement that the way we have chosen to work is working.

That way has been deliberate from the start. Zari AI helps Australian firms carry more work without adding more staff, by taking routine admin off their team, safely, on the systems they already run. We audit before we build. We tell a client honestly when AI is not the right answer for a task, even when a “yes” would have been the easier sale. And we would rather under-promise and be believed than over-promise and be doubted.

That approach has already shown up in the numbers, not just the intentions. For one Sydney client, we built an AI calling system that worked through a backlog of overdue accounts and brought back close to forty thousand dollars, without a single new hire. The system handled the volume. A person handled the judgement calls. That division of labour, machine for scale, human for nuance, is the whole philosophy in miniature.

Recognition like this belongs to more people than the name on the certificate. It belongs to the clients who trusted us with real problems before we had a trophy to point to. It belongs to the referral partners and the BNI network who have vouched for us when it mattered. And it belongs to everyone at Zari and at our delivery partners who did the unglamorous work of getting a build right the first time.

We will find out at the WSABE Gala in September whether finalist becomes winner. Either way, the standard does not change. We keep building things that are genuinely useful, we keep telling the truth about what AI can and cannot do, and we keep earning trust one careful decision at a time.
